Miss Tea started as a one month a year retail business, located in the prime location, high volume holiday market of Union Square in Manhattan, New York. This amazing exposure drew many clients as well as many businesses interested in selling our products and opening our stores in different locations. We expanded our business, opening seasonal locations in Manhattan, such as the Limelight Marketplace, Grand Central Terminal, and in our new prime location high end holiday shops at Bryant Park.
Before it all began, we were looking for a product that was unique, healthy and organic, that fit the needs of urban living, and gave consumers a moment of relaxation while nurturing the body and mind.
Fortunately, our favorite thing in the world is TEA. Growing up in the Mediterranean, we used to grow our own herbs and create different infusions. This was the thing we missed the most, while living in a big city like New York. TEA. We embarked on a quest to find the best quality organic herbal leaves and flowers, as if we were picking them fresh from the garden.
The next step was to seek out the most appealing, unique and sexy packaging possible. We remember the excitement on the day of our product launching. The result was more than we expected! People fell in love with our gorgeous jars; they found them to be beautiful gifts that have it all; special, thoughtful, healthy, natural and organic, with a high end premium look. The small jars were a sensation! Everybody wanted to put them in their Christmas stockings or add them to gift baskets.
